Sex and Death in the American Novel
What did you think of the main character? I loved how Vivianna did not allow what others thought to dictate her life. Name your favorite thing overall about the book. Vivianna placing Olivetti on her desk. I didn't quite care for the scene when Vivianna burning her father’s letters. Several book club members and I have not figured out why she burned these.
What are the most revealing scenes? Vivianne, Jasper and Alejandro during a very intimate setting in her apartment.
